Last night while my wife slept, I canned our freshly picked green beans. Yesterday’s picks filled seven 1-quart size jars perfectly. The jars will sit for 24 hours and then we’ll remove the rings and make sure we have solid seals.

Today the plan is to pickle cucumbers.
