This evening after everyone turned in I began assembling the new light shelf. I had lights, a timer, chain, c-hooks, and shower curtain hooks left over from construction of the first shelf back in 2020. I cut a blue tarp left over from a camping trip a few years ago to cover it during the day. The wire shelf was given to me by a neighbor who moved away and no longer wanted it. The lumber was left over from one of my son’s school projects. I did have to buy 4 new collars so that the top shelf could be affixed to the rack so I’m into this new light stand for a wopping $5. I am missing shelf liners but I’ve been thinking of cutting down one of those old political campaign signs on a nearby fence thats made from corrugated plastic. It’s more than large enough to cut 1 piece liners and it will be water proof and rigid. It also serves by helping to clean up the neighborhood.

Here are some photos of the project. For now it’s just 2 additional shelves but it could easily be expanded further.
